I am new to writing on-line, though have written for personal enjoyment for many years. I live in Surrey in the U.K. with my family and dog, who certainly gives me a lot to write about.
A lot of my work is experience based journals, and creative work, however I have recently begun to write more informative pieces. My two main focuses at the moment are, travel writings and film. The travel writing is based on my own knowledge and experience, for which I have found my travel journals very useful. I am also interested in film, mainly modern cinema covering a wide variety of genres.
Hobbies include travel, film, photography, writing, reading, climbing, hiking, camping, staying fit, baking, all of which I hope give a well round perspective from which to begin writing about a number of topic.
Travel and writing about it, however is definitely one of my passions. I have been lucky enough to have seen a great deal of the world on trips varying from luxurious, to interesting. I hope this has given me an insight not only into the places I have visited, but also what travelers want and need when they are on the road.
I am looking forward to writing and learning whilst part of the Suite 101 community.
